SO WHAT IS THIS PLACE?

Ann Arbor has a lot of creative people, but not a lot of space for their work to converge. We saw the need for an accessible studio space for photographers and other content creators, so we built it. StudioStudio is a bright blank canvas, flooded with natural light and stocked with aesthetic props and furniture. We are equipped with photography tools like reflectors, v-flats, and c-stands - ready for your next creative endeavor. We are more than just a studio for rent - we are a community. Need a spot to create content? Want to connect with other like-minded creatives? You’re in the right place. We offer affordable memberships for frequent flyers, and regularly host workshops and pop-in coworking days - make sure to join our mailing list for all the latest happenings.

The 1540 square ft studio is available to rent by the hour and day, and features 3 distinct areas:

• our main studio room with white cyclorama, aesthetic furniture and props, and skylit loft with hand-painted canvas backdrops.

• vestibule with makeup stations, fridge, garmet rack, and community board

• annex studio with wraparound floor-to-ceiling windows - this space is often home to rotating installations. please inquire to find out the current setup!

When you rent StudioStudio, all three spaces in the building are exclusively yours to explore. This is a natural light space with no blackout capabilities. If you require blackout, make sure to book after sunset! Bookings are currently capped at 20 guests unless prior arrangements have been made.
